Nearly everything about this Bishop Morocco track, “Old Boys,” feels familiar and done before. However, there’s just a certain charm to it that keeps it playing softly in the back of my head, making me excited for the band’s forthcoming EP on Arts & Crafts. Title: Old Boys. Date: March 13th.
I suppose the production is pretty great, and features some nice, light swirls of guitars and synths. The lazy vocals create a pretty sedate attitude, which ends up being more alluring than boring. Definitely something I’d recommend if you were into that Craft Spells album last year.
