A video for the song “In Future Worlds,” which comes off the new Mark Sultan compilation Whatever/Whenever. This album is comprised of fourteen tracks from two recent Sultan releases, Whatever I Want and Whenever I want.
In true Sultan fashion, the track above is an odd and lo-fi take on garage rock, old school R&B, psych rock, and soul. Yes, different worlds, but this guy always manages to meld into a world of his own.
Look for Whatever/Whenever on In the Red Records tomorrow. Also, find a free download of another new Sultan release right here. Apparently, it’s somewhat of a sonic manifesto about killing rock ‘n’ roll in order to preserve its greatness.
