Now since this particular track features none other than Gary Numan, I’m psyched that these guys were able to get him in this video. As far as the concept goes, it’s like a music video idea OK Go would have–except it’s gone horribly, horribly wrong. As a poor escalator victim rolls helplessly down the one that goes up, Battles and Numan perform around him, which is the least they could do. If I were caught in a dicey situation, I’d love a band to come in and soundtrack my misfortune.
