Since reviewing SBTRKT’s debut album, I’ve picked up the CD and haven’t regretted a single penny spent. I just love how soulful Sampha’s vocal contributions are, and the simple, bright synths SBTRKT backs them with.
Of course, my musical hunger is insatiable, and I can’t wait for SBTRKT to drop more stuff in the future. Hopefully, the track above is proof SBTRKT and Sampha won’t be parting ways anytime soon. It’s a live version of the non-album song “Up & Down.” Enjoy!
