Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore will be dropping his 4th (or 5th) solo LP on May 24th via Matador Records. “Circulation” is the first track to drop from it. Demolished Thoughts is the title.
Here, the Connecticut native strums a rough guitar wrapped in shots of violin. Though the songwriting is what I’ve come to expect from this guy, there’s a surprisingly tender moment at 2:30 where some building instrumentation just makes everything seem weightless. Definitely looking forward to the album now.
