Dropping May 31st, it’s a new 7″ EP from Monster Rally. The title is Deep Sea.

We’ve blogged about this funny little beat project before, and we justified it simply on the grounds that this is fun to listen to. Wild, I know.

With a series of simple and repetitive beats, Monster rally finds new grooves with jazz, calypso, and funk samples. The last track here even sounds like a freaking luau.

Like previous output, nothing here feels too finished or intricate. It’s more like a series of sketches, or dance tracks for the short-of-breath.
