On their debut full-length, Africa Hitech fuses rhythms from around the world with the most synthetic electronics known to man. It’s like listening to some kind of Kraftwerk-produced drum circle accompanied by a chiptunes DJ.
I know that description is outlandish, but I honestly feel like some of the music here is a trip. There are so many colors and grooves laced into these tracks, I think any one–at least on some level–can admit this is a fun listen.
