Some sensual and tight sounds on the new Metronomy single, “The Look.” It’s from the band’s forthcoming album, The English Riviera, which is due for an April 11th release via Because Music.
The track feels so danceable, but all the sounds are so thin and fragile. It’s like having a dance party in an antiques shop: The desire to dance is there, but all these highly breakable things all over the place are making it impossible to do so. I do mean that in the most complementary way possible, though. Give a listen to the track yourself:
