“Eye to Eye” is one of eight tracks featured on Leatherette EP: A self-titled release of psychedelic rap beats and exercises in chill-the-hell-out electronics.
There’s a lot of sound in this track, but it all plays very faintly against the finely chopped lead vocal. Harp, guitar, a horn, and maybe even vibes pop up over and over as the beat carries the samples in a very orderly fashion. Dig on the track below, and look for this new EP via Hotep–or is it Ho Tep?
