For those of you who can’t remember back to 2009, the California band Girls debuted with one of the most thrilling full-lengths of that year. Album had a very conventional pop beauty to it, but still managed to dabble in elements of shoegaze and lo-fi among its tracks.
This video is for a new track titled “Lysandre,” and the sound quality is pretty fantastic, too. Sounds like Girls are still awesome.
