King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are back with a new single and album announcement. The Australian band shared the news in an Instagram post, providing more information about the forthcoming era.
The song is called “Phantom Island” and is part of a new album with orchestra that is currently in the works. The upcoming LP serves as a second part to their last album, Flight b741, released two months ago.
As the genre-bending group explains, their latest full-length “actually had 20 songs. The other 10 are on this one but we added an orchestra HAHAHAHAHA.”
The orchestra won't be a one-time thing, either, as they have also lined up a USA tour with several orchestras, as well as a couple of rock shows. The tour tickets will be on sale Friday 1 November at 8am PT/11am ET.
