Title Fight- Floral Green

This is my favorite Title Fight release, and actually opened the door to the rest of their catalog for me. I did not like Title Fight before this release (despite me being at many shows that they played) – it always takes me a while for pop-punk bands to really click with me. However, this was kind of a breath of fresh air in the pop-punk (and strangely adoptive, as far as title fight goes, hardcore) scene. The throw back to the 90′s emo sound was nice, and the shoegaze-like interlude of Head in the Ceiling fan gave the perfect break in the album. I’ll agree that they didn’t do anything groundbreaking, but it was awesome to see them mature as a band.
