    Really liking the new album. It has a greater variety of sounds than For Emma, but loses little of its emotional power. I also absolutely adore Justin Vernon’s voice, and I’d go as far as to say that he’s my favorite working male vocalist today.

    The first half is a solid firework of genius. 2nd half is more experimental, 9th track is a filler-prelude, and the final song is, when compared to “Re:Stacks”, a letdown.
    Still: I already adore this album, there is so much to be found on there, the “proper” songs are so well-layered and -textured that you it makes you want to scream Heureka all the time. I am looking forward to more Bon Iver albums already but first will enjoy this one.
